The era of cloud computing or cloud computing seriously welcomed by Taiwan. East Asian countries are setting up cloud computing technology center, dubbed the Cloud Valley.
Objective of establishing Cloud Valley is not arbitrary. Area is projected to make cloud computing industry Taiwan shot to a big player in the global sphere. Taiwan cloud industry players gathered here.
"Cloud Valley made for the incubation of cloud-based application development, so that all are equally prosperous," said Dr. Shyue Ching lu, CEO Chungwa Telecom in Taipei, Taiwan Friday (04/20/2012).
Cloud Valley development consists of three phases until 2014. The first phase began in 2012 with the opening of cloud technology demonstration center.
In 2014, plans to build a large industrial center cloud computing, located in New Taipei City. An area of 5.19 hectares was already in the process of land acquisition.
Cloud Valley itself was built by the institution Cloud Computing Association in Taiwan. The institute is fully supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs Taiwan.
Taiwan is known as one of the technology industry center in Asia. They have some great players in the computer industry, memory, and global scale smartphone.
"In Taiwan, the information technology sector is very strong. We talked a lot in the global realm, thanks to the creativity of our people," said Ching.
Chunghwa own Opreator lean into a large cloud computing providers. They make these cloud services as new revenue sources.
