London Underground Stations Provide WiFi

Now the London underground stations have been providing WiFi service. Free Internet connection service that covers 40 stations used 100 thousand passengers. This is the first time in history, which allows the transportation of passengers utilizing the facility underground internet without having to leave the room.

The WiFi service was launched four weeks ago by Virgin Media. As proclaimed Xinhua on Wednesday (4/7), the service can be used to serve one million Tweets, Facebook postings, email, and web pages in one week.

Even during the Olympics, passengers can always get updated news about the event. Not only that, they also can enjoy free entertainment from Tube sites.

According to reports circulating, the service will be extended to another 120 stations by the end of the year.
