Latest fossil was discovered by a technician named Justin Mukanku. He found a tooth sticking out of the back of the stone as wide as three feet in June. With the discovery of these teeth, experts increasingly believe if it is a framework of early human ancestors.
Gigi is a complement Karabo skeleton found in 2008 at the excavation site of the oldest in the world, Cradle of Humankind, Johannesburg North.
Paleontologist at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, Lee Berger, a framework is a skeleton of early human ancestors of the most complete ever found.
"We have found the jaw and some important body parts, such as the femur, ribs, spine, and some other body part.
Some of them have never been found in this complete state of the human fossil record, "Berger said in a statement the university, as quoted by AFP on Monday (16/7).
However, researchers still do not know for sure whether the framework is the direct ancestor of the human genus, Homo, or just close relatives only. To be sure, Karabo is aged between 9-13 years at a time when life ends up straight-bodied tree climber.
Four other sediba Australopithecus skeleton were also found at Malapa Cave, which is about 48 kilometers in the north of Johannesburg since 2008. They are believed to fall into the tunnel at the cave, then die
