Jelly Bean Growing Faster Than Android "Ice Cream"


Google has released the Android operating system 4.1 (Jelly Bean) at the end of June. When compared to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), the growth is much faster Jelly Bean.

It can be seen from the research a company online advertising network Chitika, which was released on Tuesday (09/18/2012). This research is based on ad impressions on Android mobile devices in the United States and Canada, gathered from ad network Chitika.

According to Chitika Research, the market share of Android Jelly Bean at the end of July 2012 and was 0.87%. Two months after its release, or in August, Jelly Bean's market share rose to 1.47%.

When compared with the growth of Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean growing much faster.

The market share of the new Ice Cream Sandwich could reach 1.54% in the time series 3 months after its release.

Jelly Bean's market share is expected to continue to rise as more and more manufacturers are adopting smartphones and tablets in the latest products.
