The AMD "Trinity" for Budget Priced PC Future?


What is the pricing for the Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) AMD "Trinity" which will be released soon?

According to the online shopping portal quoted ZDNet BLT, the top model of the series processors, the A10-5800K, will only be priced at 131 U.S. dollars, or approximately USD 1.25 million.

Model "Trinity" has a four-core CPU 3.8 GHz speed paired with a Radeon HD 7660D GPU. The price-if it turns out is more or less comparable with the offer of lower-class processors from rival AMD, Intel.

As in the other side of the price spectrum Trinity processors are dual-core A4-5300 3.4 GHz speed which BLT will sell for 60 dollars.

Models with suffix "K" has an open multiplier that can be forced to work much faster by overclocking techniques.

AMD Processors APU "Trinity" desktop version is a continuation of the mobile version which was introduced in May. The desktop processors are requiring a new motherboard and chipset A85X socket FM2.

"APU" itself is a term used to refer to AMD processors that combine CPU core with a graphics processor (GPU). For AMD Processors APU "Trinity" desktop version, embedded GPU is the Radeon HD 7000 series that supports DirectX 11.
